The United States Constitution

As I have mentioned earlier, it is of utmost importance for each and every American citizen to not only read the U.S. Constitution, but to understand the document as well. Preamble

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

The "Preamble" is laid out to give the reader a very clear and concise outline of the EXACT PURPOSE of our Constitution. Understanding exactly what our Constitution is designed to do is critical to our battle for freedom. Gaining a clear understanding of its purpose will bring into the light of day just how blatantly corrupt our leaders have been in their incessant abrogation of their sworn oath to uphold and defend our Constitution. OUR ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES AT EVERY LEVEL ARE BREAKING THE LAW AND COMMITTING TREASON IN THE MOST EGREGIOUS WAY. As you read the six reasons our Constitution was ratified, I want you to pay attention to the fact that it is effectively accomplishing NONE of the enumerated purposes it was designed to accomplish. The reason for this is that those who have taken an oath to obey, support and defend our Constitution, those who are suppose to operate within the confines of this legally binding document, are absolutely doing everything they can to destroy it!

As you read the Preamble, the first principle to understand is exactly "Who" established the Constitution and gives the document its power. Where does our government come from? As simply stated, You and I, "We the People," are the ones who give our government its power.  For the first time in history the people have taken the power from the elite oppressors of the world and set up a government "OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE and FOR THE PEOPLE!" Since the American people put our Republic form of government in place, We The People are the controlling entity of the entire government! In other words, our government is suppose to work for us and on our behalf in support of our Republic form of government. Our government was put in place to protect and defend our Rights! Is that the feeling of power you personally get from Washington D.C. today? Personally, do you feel like you have a government that is doing it's best to protect your God given Rights? I think NOT!

As stated in the Preamble, the purpose of our Constitution is to do the following:

1. Form a more perfect union.
After the Revolutionary War was won against the British Empire, our government was being operated under the very weak Articles of Confederation. A quick study of General Washington's personal letters during the few years leading up to the ratification of our Constitution in 1787 one can observe Washington's depressed state as the country boarders on anarchy. In a letter written to Henry Knox on December 26, 1786, President Washington writes,

"I feel my dear General Knox, infinitely more than I can express to you, for the disorders, which have arisen in these states. Good God! who could have forseen, or predicted them?"

However, less than four years after ratification of our Constitution, President Washington's attitude had taken a drastic turn for the positive. In a letter he wrote to David Humphreys on July 20, 1791 Washington writes,

"Tranquility reigns among the people, with that disposition towards the general government, which is likely to preserve it...Our public credit stands on that high ground which three years ago it would have been considered as a species of madness to have foretold." 
As clearly understood from Washington's letters, our Constitution in his mind was the key catalyst that effectively turned our country away from the brink of anarchy and destruction. Our Constitution was well thought out and designed by the Founders to make the United States of America a "More perfect" place to thrive. However, in order for this to work, our elected representatives MUST read, learn, obey and honor our Constitution for this to be a reality. The fact that the CRIMINALS in Washington are NOT doing this is the fundamental reason Americans are losing their freedoms and we are indeed seeing a FALL of the REPUBLIC!
2. Establish justice.
The second stated purpose of our Constitution is to establish justice. What I think it is important to highlight here is the fact that our Constitution is the "Highest Law of the Land." What this means is that this document is the source of all other laws and all other laws must be bench-marked as to their legal consideration using the absolute authority of the Constitution. If it is found that proposed legislation does not have the legal blessing of the Constitution, this proposed legislation must be immediately scrapped! The legislative guideline of our Constitution is one way it "Establishes Justice." Congress is not suppose to be able to pass unjust laws because of the force of law given to our Founding Document.

Article I

Section 1. All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

Section 2. The House of Representatives shall be composed of members chosen every second year by the people of the several states, and the electors in each state shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the state legislature.

No person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the age of twenty five years, and been seven years a citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state in which he shall be chosen.

{Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this union, according to their respective numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole number of free persons, including those bound to service for a term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.} [Changed by Section 2 of the 14th Amendment] The actual Enumeration shall be made within three years after the first meeting of the Congress of the United States, and within every subsequent term of ten years, in such manner as they shall by law direct. The number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty thousand, but each state shall have at least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made, the state of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolina five, and Georgia three.

When vacancies happen in the Representation from any state, the executive authority thereof shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies.

The House of Representatives shall choose their speaker and other officers; and shall have the sole power of impeachment.

Section 3. The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each state, {Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several states which may be included within this union, according to their respective numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole number of free persons, including those bound to service for a term of years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.} [Changed by the 17th Amendment]

{Immediately after they shall be assembled in consequence of the first election, they shall be divided as equally as may be into three classes. The seats of the Senators of the first class shall be vacated at the expiration of the second year, of the second class at the expiration of the fourth year, and the third class at the expiration of the sixth year, so that one third may be chosen every second year; and if vacancies happen by resignation, or otherwise, during the recess of the legislature of any state, the executive thereof may make temporary appointments until the next meeting of the legislature, which shall then fill such vacancies.} [Changed by the 17th Amendment]

No person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the age of thirty years, and been nine years a citizen of the United States and who shall not, when elected, be an inhabitant of that state for which he shall be chosen.

The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no vote, unless they be equally divided.

The Senate shall choose their other officers, and also a President pro tempore, in the absence of the Vice President, or when he shall exercise the office of President of the United States.

The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments. When sitting for that purpose, they shall be on oath or affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no person shall be convicted without the concurrence of two thirds of the members present.

Judgment in cases of impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust or profit under the United States: but the party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to indictment, trial, judgment and punishment, according to law.

Section 4. The times, places and manner of holding elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each state by the legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by law make or alter such regulations, except as to the places of choosing Senators.

The Congress shall assemble at least once in every year, and such meeting shall {be on the first Monday in December} [Changed by Section 2 of the Twentieth Amendment] unless they shall by law appoint a different day.

Section 5. Each House shall be the judge of the elections, returns and qualifications of its own members, and a majority of each shall constitute a quorum to do business; but a smaller number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the attendance of absent members, in such manner, and under such penalties as each House may provide.

Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member.

Each House shall keep a journal of its proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such parts as may in their judgment require secrecy; and the yeas and nays of the members of either House on any question shall, at the desire of one fifth of those present, be entered on the journal.

Neither House, during the session of Congress, shall, without the consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.

Section 6. The Senators and Representatives shall receive a compensation for their services, to be ascertained by law, and paid out of the treasury of the United States. They shall in all cases, except treason, felony and breach of the peace, be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any speech or debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other place.

No Senator or Representative shall, during the time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil office under the authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time: and no person holding any office under the United States, shall be a member of either House during his continuance in office.

Section 7. All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with amendments as on other Bills.

Every bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States; if he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the objections at large on their journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the bill, it shall be sent, together with the objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a law. But in all such cases the votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and nays, and the names of the persons voting for and against the bill shall be entered on the journal of each House respectively. If any bill shall not be returned by the President within ten days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the same shall be a law, in like manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their adjournment prevent its return, in which case it shall not be a law.

Every order, resolution, or vote to which the concurrence of the Senate and House of Representatives may be necessary (except on a question of adjournment) shall be presented to the President of the United States; and before the same shall take effect, shall be approved by him, or being disapproved by him, shall be repassed by two thirds of the Senate and House of Representatives, according to the rules and limitations prescribed in the case of a bill.

Section 8. The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States; but all duties, imposts and excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes;

To establish a uniform rule of naturalization, and uniform laws on the subject of bankruptcies throughout the United States;

To coin money, regulate the value thereof, and of foreign coin, and fix the standard of weights and measures;

To provide for the punishment of counterfeiting the securities and current coin of the United States;

To establish post offices and post roads;

To promote the progress of science and useful arts, by securing for limited times to authors and inventors the exclusive right to their respective writings and discoveries;

To constitute tribunals inferior to the Supreme Court;

To define and punish piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and offenses against the law of nations;

To declare war, grant letters of marque and reprisal, and make rules concerning captures on land and water;

To raise and support armies, but no appropriation of money to that use shall be for a longer term than two years;

To provide and maintain a navy;

To make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces;

To provide for calling forth the militia to execute the laws of the union, suppress insurrections and repel invasions;

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the militia, and for governing such part of them as may be employed in the service of the United States, reserving to the states respectively, the appointment of the officers, and the authority of training the militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings; — And

To make all laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into execution the foregoing powers, and all other powers vested by this Constitution in the government of the United States, or in any department or officer thereof.

Section 9. The migration or importation of such persons as any of the states now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each person.

The privilege of the writ of habeas corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in cases of rebellion or invasion the public safety may require it.

No bill of attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

{No capitation, or other direct, tax shall be laid, unless in proportion to the census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken. See 16th Amendment}

No tax or duty shall be laid on articles exported from any state.

No preference shall be given by any regulation of commerce or revenue to the ports of one state over those of another: nor shall vessels bound to, or from, one state, be obliged to enter, clear or pay duties in another.

No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law; and a regular statement and account of receipts and expenditures of all public money shall be published from time to time.

No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state.

Section 10. No state shall enter into any treaty, alliance, or confederation; grant letters of marque and reprisal; coin money; emit bills of credit; make anything but gold and silver coin a tender in payment of debts; pass any bill of attainder, ex post facto law, or law impairing the obligation of contracts, or grant any title of nobility.

No state shall, without the consent of the Congress, lay any imposts or duties on imports or exports, except what may be absolutely necessary for executing it's inspection laws: and the net produce of all duties and imposts, laid by any state on imports or exports, shall be for the use of the treasury of the United States; and all such laws shall be subject to the revision and control of the Congress.

No state shall, without the consent of Congress, lay any duty of tonnage, keep troops, or ships of war in time of peace, enter into any agreement or compact with another state, or with a foreign power, or engage in war, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent danger as will not admit of delay.

Article II

Section 1. The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his office during the term of four years {Limited to two terms by the 22nd Amendment} and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same term, be elected, as follows:

Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors, equal to the whole number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or person holding an office of trust or profit under the United States, shall be appointed an elector.

{The electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for two persons, of whom one at least shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves. And they shall make a list of all the persons voted for, and of the number of votes for each; which list they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates, and the votes shall then be counted. The person having the greatest number of votes shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such majority, and have an equal number of votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately choose by ballot one of them for President; and if no person have a majority, then from the five highest on the list the said House shall in like manner choose the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by States, the representation from each state having one vote; A quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. In every case, after the choice of the President, the person having the greatest number of votes of the electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal votes, the Senate shall choose from them by ballot the Vice President. {Changed by the 12th Amendment}

The Congress may determine the time of choosing the electors, and the day on which they shall give their votes; which day shall be the same throughout the United States.

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.

{In case of the removal of the President from office, or of his death, resignation, or inability to discharge the powers and duties of the said office, the same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by law provide for the case of removal, death, resignation or inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what officer shall then act as President, and such officer shall act accordingly, until the disability be removed, or a President shall be elected. {Changed by the 25th Amendment}

The President shall, at stated times, receive for his services, a compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that period any other emolument from the United States, or any of them.

Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation: — "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Section 2. The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States; he may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.

He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.

The President shall have power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate, by granting commissions which shall expire at the end of their next session.

Section 3. He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union, and recommend to their consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in case of disagreement between them, with respect to the time of adjournment, he may adjourn them to such time as he shall think proper; he shall receive ambassadors and other public ministers; he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed, and shall commission all the officers of the United States.

Section 4. The President, Vice President and all civil officers of the United States, shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.

Article III

Section 1. The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such inferior courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The judges, both of the supreme and inferior courts, shall hold their offices during good behaviour, and shall, at stated times, receive for their services, a compensation, which shall not be diminished during their continuance in office.

Section 2. The judicial power shall extend to all cases, in law and equity, arising under this Constitution, the laws of the United States, and treaties made, or which shall be made, under their authority; — to all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls; — to all cases of admiralty and maritime jurisdiction; — to controversies to which the United States shall be a party; — to controversies between two or more states; — {between a state and citizens of another state - Changed by the 11th Amendment} — between citizens of different states; — between citizens of the same state claiming lands under grants of different states, and between a state, or the citizens thereof, and foreign states, citizens or subjects.

In all cases affecting ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, and those in which a state shall be party, the Supreme Court shall have original jurisdiction. In all the other cases before mentioned, the Supreme Court shall have appellate jurisdiction, both as to law and fact, with such exceptions, and under such regulations as the Congress shall make.

The trial of all crimes, except in cases of impeachment, shall be by jury; and such trial shall be held in the state where the said crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any state, the trial shall be at such place or places as the Congress may by law have directed.

Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

Article IV

Section 1. Full faith and credit shall be given in each state to the public acts, records, and judicial proceedings of every other state. And the Congress may by general laws prescribe the manner in which such acts, records, and proceedings shall be proved, and the effect thereof.

Section 2. The citizens of each state shall be entitled to all privileges and immunities of citizens in the several states.

A person charged in any state with treason, felony, or other crime, who shall flee from justice, and be found in another state, shall on demand of the executive authority of the state from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the state having jurisdiction of the crime.

{No person held to service or labor in one state, under the laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in consequence of any law or regulation therein, be discharged from such service or labor, but shall be delivered up on claim of the party to whom such service or labor may be due. {Changed by the 13th Amendment}

Section 3. New states may be admitted by the Congress into this union; but no new states shall be formed or erected within the jurisdiction of any other state; nor any state be formed by the junction of two or more states, or parts of states, without the consent of the legislatures of the states concerned as well as of the Congress.

The Congress shall have power to dispose of and make all needful rules and regulations respecting the territory or other property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to prejudice any claims of the United States, or of any particular state.

Section 4. The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence.

Article V

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose amendments to this Constitution, or, on the application of the legislatures of two thirds of the several states, shall call a convention for proposing amendments, which, in either case, shall be valid to all intents and purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the legislatures of three fourths of the several states, or by conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other mode of ratification may be proposed by the Congress; provided that no amendment which may be made prior to the year one thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the ninth section of the first article; and that no state, without its consent, shall be deprived of its equal suffrage in the Senate.

Article VI

All debts contracted and engagements entered into, before the adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.

Article VII

The ratification of the conventions of nine states, shall be sufficient for the establishment of this Constitution between the states so ratifying the same.


Welcome to Constitution 101. The information found in this portion of the website is extremely vital to understand if one is going to be an effective leader in helping the cause of returning America to its once great heritage found in the Republic form of government. In my opinion each and every American citizen should have at least a basic working knowledge of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution because, as you will see, these two documents are what really makes America unlike any nation that has ever existed…the uniqueness of our Founding Documents is what truly makes us Americans!

I have chosen to name this portion of the website "Constitution 101" because this is just a primer in the study of our Declaration and Constitution. Parents, churches, public schools and our "Ivy League" schools of higher learning are intentionally failing in their responsibility to teach our posterity what these documents are, what they mean and why they are critically important! The failure of America's institutions of higher learning to teach the basics regarding our Republic’s true history and to a greater degree those same institutions failing to recognize and teach Almighty God's divine hand of providence in the successful founding of the world's first true Republic are the primary reasons America is now on the brink of destruction! Please understand, this statement is not based on "religious zeal," or the desire to be obtrusively dogmatic. NO! History without fail supports the truth of the law of sowing and reaping. In the New Testament book of Galatians 6:7, the Apostle Paul tells us, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." God has blessed our Republic. But in the last 100 years We the People have bought into the rhetoric that God is dead and no longer has a place in a modern society. Oh, really?! Look what has happened to America in the last 100 years as we try to get farther and father away from our Godly heritage. Look around you! Do you like what you see? Without God a nation WILL NOT flourish with freedom for the people. Left to their own devices and sinful natures people will almost always lean to depravity when the moral compass of God's guidance and direction are forsaken. With this section of the website I have attempted to give all you Freedom Fighters out there a basic understanding as to what is contained in our Founding Documents. Technology vs. Freedom

As adults we desperately need to go back and re-educate ourselves in the basics of our Republic form of government. This should have been taught during our high school years. It’s hard to believe we are living in the 21st century! Technology is far beyond mankind's wildest dreams and unlimited amounts of information are at the fingertips of almost every person in the United States. Some experts in the field of Technological Forecasting are saying that in the 21st century, technology will NOT advance the equivalent of 100 years of progress...NO, according to Ray Kurzweil [KurzweilAI.net] in his lecture The Law Of Accelerating Returns, “It will be more like 20,000 years of progress (at today’s rate). The “returns,” such as chip speed and cost-effectiveness, also increase exponentially. There’s even exponential growth in the rate of exponential growth. Within a few decades, machine intelligence will surpass human intelligence, leading to "The Singularity.”"

It is really quite sad to consider Americans have accomplished the most amazing feats know to man and yet we have so focused on technology, comfort and maintaining our lifestyle that we have completely lost our very identity in the process. I think of Orville and Wilbur Wright's famous first flight in Kitty Hawk North Carolina. And less than 100 years later, we are sending shuttles to space on a regular basis. All the time and money we are spending on advancements to make a better society, yet at the same time we have failed to pay attention to what has allowed us at a nation to devote our attention to those things...namely God and His blessing of freedom! 

Rewriting History

The Socialist global agenda of rewriting history and gaining a firm foothold within our media and public education system is all that had to happen to produce two generations of American citizens that are completely unfamiliar with the truth about what form of government we are supposed to have. Even more disturbing is that fact that Americans in general have no concept of how dangerous government is to their day-to-day well-being. If allowed to operate unchecked by the watchdogs in media and a vigilant populace [our government has operated unchecked for more than six decades now], government will systematically reduce a nation to oppression and tyranny! This is not just my opinion. With every recorded civilization in human history the scenario of inattention by the people to the activities of their government ALWAYS led to oppression and tyranny!  I challenge anyone to point to another country, civilization, or people who were able to establish a form of government where the people were not only the creators of their government, but where they were actually in control of their own government. A free populace needs to understand that each year the single most deadly entity on the planet is GOVERNMENT! Again, I refer you to the definitive work on the subject, “Death By Government,” by R.J. Rummel. 

Even with the greatest advancements in information technology know to man, Americans are for the most part are at a serious disadvantage when it comes to understanding American history and government. Exhaustive information on any subject in the world is at the fingertips of virtually every person in America. However, most graduating seniors do not know or understand even the most basic elements of our Republic. I know I am beating a dead horse here, but this point needs to hit home! 

Who Reads the Constitution Anyway?

Why are we so ignorant when it comes to our Republic? The answer is simple...not only have nearly all Americans never read the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence in their entirety, but expending the mental energy to obtain an understanding of these two relatively simple documents has been out of the question? I have an idea! Why don’t you do a personal survey in your own sphere of influence and ask your friends and family members when the last time was they read the U.S. Constitution or the Declaration of Independence? If you find one in a hundred people who have actually read these two most important documents I will be very surprised! Think back to your high school days when you studied Civics, American History or had a Social Studies class. Do you remember studying the U.S. Constitution or Declaration of Independence in detail? Did you learn the difference between a "Right" and a "Privilege?" Where do our rights come from and why is that even important? I know if you are a product of the public school system, you were lucky if you even took a passing glance at these wonderful documents that secure our precious freedom. But lets not stop there! Let's talk about those Ivy League Constitutional attorneys out there. Let's talk about  these men and women who are suppose to be experts in the subject of our Constitution ...right? Wrong! Most graduates from our schools of higher learning are little more than the brainwashed products of a very exclusive system of indoctrination and propaganda. When they should be free thinkers and able to critically analyze history, they just soak up the  garbage spewed forth by some Socialist, America hating professor for goodness sake!  Those who know better and should be on the front lines in the defense of the Republic because they have spent years apparently studying our form of government have become a major part of the problem. The type of trash spewed from the lecterns of college class rooms around America promote and teach lies like the "Elastic Clause" and "Living Document" to name a few. Liberal professors, with tenure no less, are given free reign to teach those who would lead our future attorneys and leaders that our Legislators and Supreme Court are correctly "interpreting" the Constitution when they use the end of Article I, Section 8 to support the myth "that the Congress may enact whatever measures it may deem "necessary and proper.""2 There is absolutely nothing in the history or the spirit of our Founding Fathers that would indicate this blatant departure from the overall purpose of our founding document! On this very subject Thomas Jefferson makes things crystal clear..."On every question of construction, [let us] carry ourselves back to the time when the Constitution was adopted, recollect the spirit manifested in the debates, and instead of trying what meaning may be squeezed out of the text, or invented against it, conform to the probable one in which it was passed."3 [emphasis added] What exactly is Thomas Jefferson saying here...STUDY YOUR HISTORY! I will give a more in-depth understanding of the two myths listed above and others later in this study. 


Bad News

The bad news for Americans is that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! We as a people have dropped the ball for the last 60 years by not learning or teaching our Constitution. Because of our lack of knowledge we have also failed to engage our political system in a way that would have required our elected legislators to obey the highest laws of our land. They have become [on our watch], criminals of the worst kind. Our elected representatives in Washington are routinely breaking the law in the worst way and they get away with it! They get away with it because “We the People” are NOT holding them accountable and demanding they be prosecuted! The main reason we don’t follow through with our duty as overseers of our great Republic is that Americans for the most part don’t understand the dire consequences we suffer as a nation when our politicians break the law and are not held accountable. Please study “The Oath” section of this website to get a more in-depth understanding of the importance of our elected officials as relates to their Oath of Office. 

We now find ourselves on the edge of the abyss facing an almost certain fascist dictatorship because we no longer have the correct information about what is truly the nature of the problems facing our country. We are running around blaming blacks, whites, Liberals, Conservatives, Republicans, Democrats, the economy, illegal aliens and global warming for goodness sake! NOTHING could be farther from the truth! Please understand, this “left vs. right, us vs. them” propaganda paradigm the government/media complex has most Americans trapped in is working quite well. It’s a classic case of divide and conquer. While we are fighting these pathetic battles against each other our elected employees are being used by the international banking elite to win the war! It would be very appropriate to read or listen to the speech given by Joesph Sobran called, "How Tyranny Came to America."

Our ignorance and apathy have allowed a cancer to form that has led to all of America’s societal ills. These ills are stemming from the international globalist elites who have hijacked our nation's economy through the Federal Reserve  global banking cartel and are actually using the sweat equity of the American people's labor to pay for their “New World Order.” These vicious "eugenicists" have instituted money/power control mechanisms over our legislature and through manipulation and blackmail they have forced the Congress and Senate to pass one unconstitutional bill after another. Haven't you ever asked yourself why every thing our government does seems to be so wrong for America? Why is it that every piece of legislation that comes out of the bill mill in Washington D.C. always has the combined effect of doing two things...costs more money which means more taxes and it makes something else we do illegal.  Certainly for the past 60 years MOST legislation has been completely un-Constitutional and involves both higher taxes and less freedom. Tyrannical legislation has directly spawned the  creation of the Federal Reserve and our fiat monetary system, the socialization of our education system, the heavy and progressive income tax [which is causing the destruction of the nuclear family] and a whole host of bureaucracies...we have the NEA, DEA, NSA, DHS, HHS, CIA, FBI, BATFE, FAA,  TSA, DOD, DOT, FDIC, EPA, OSHA and FDA just to name a few! All of these government agencies are completely unconstitutional and have done nothing except create a police state and a whole class of government dependents who are living off the transferred wealth of their fellow Americans! Welcome to Socialism! We have CZARS, we have EXECUTIVE ORDERS, we have LINE ITEM VETO, PRESIDENTIAL DIRECTIVES and SIGNING STATEMENTS. All of these activities are simply illegal gifts given by the politicians and for the politicians and are completely UNCONSTITUTIONAL as you will find out! 

Again, the heart of the problem or the cancer that is causing all of these horrific symptoms is actually the highly illegal, domestic and offshore money interests that own and run the private Federal Reserve Corporate Banking Cartel.
 It was one of these money interests...Mayer Amschel Rothschild of England's House of Rothschild who said, "Give me control of a nation's money, and I care not who makes the laws." Read that quote one more time.  Do you think there might be a link between Congress handing over control of our monetary system to a PRIVATE BANKING CARTEL and all the tyrannical legislation that's been perpetrated upon the American people for the last 60 to 100 years? Think about what Rothschild said and how that relates to where we are in America today.  Consider the bailouts and pay particular attention to the fact that the FED will not tell Congress where 2.2 Trillion dollars of taxpayer money went! HERE you can watch the Chairman of the FED stonewall the American people in this exchange between Senator Bernie Sanders and Ben Bernanke! I am sure you can see the parallel between the previous quote and what we see going on in our nations Capital. If you do then you are beginning to wake up to the truth of America's plight. 

Good News

The good news for Americans is that KNOWLEDGE IS POWER! If We the People buckle down, get disciplined, learn the truth about our nation's history we can bring real “CHANGE” that begins with the American people. This is opposed to the sick change of some foreign born, Presidential  impostor who is delightfully good at making promises dictated by a teleprompter, but delivers the worst kind of despotic tyranny. 

If we get politically active we can save this Republic and secure the freedoms those before us fought and died for. “We the People” absolutely need to understand what a valuable jewel we have in our beloved Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence. If “We the People” get a well-rounded understanding of what these documents mean then “We the People” will have the ideological ammunition [TRUTH!] with which to do battle against those who would try to use our own ignorance to destroy us from within. I am sure you would agree that it would be much better to do battle in the arena of ideas now [especially since we have truth, justice and righteousness on our side] than to let things get to the point we have to do battle with guns in the cities and plains of America later. God forbid it! We fought one civil war and more Americans were killed in that war then all other American engagements combined! This is America's 11th hour. I and many around you are sounding the call! The time is rapidly approaching when we will have to take things to the next level. We must overcome our own apathy and slothfulness today! READ, READ, READ...LEARN, LEARN, LEARN....CRY OUT! CRY OUT! CRY OUT! Never forget the famous quote by Edmund Burke, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil, is that good men do nothing.” Am I suggesting that you "MEN" out there give up Monday Night Football? YES I AM!  Dare I suggesting that you pour your heart into America’s fight for Liberty and Freedom? YES I DO! Am I suggesting that you get out of your comfort zone and start confronting your fellow man with the important issues of our day? AS GOD ALMIGHTY AS MY WITNESS...YES I AM! We will either love Liberty and Freedom enough to fix things or we will lick the boots of our government masters all the way to some FEMA CONCENTRATION CAMP!
 

A Challenge For Real Men

Here's a challenge. I know there's plenty of testosterone laden men out there who think they are big and manly because they hang out at the bars every Friday night, they play softball on Saturday to impress their wives or girl friends who really could care a less, or they think they are the cats meow because they can bring home the bacon! Consider this...A REAL MAN...a man truly deserving respect from their wives and girlfriends is the man who is in the trenches fighting a REAL FIGHT, against a REAL ENEMY in a REAL CONQUEST for FREEDOM. The real men are fighting for truth, justice and a future for their families for goodness sake! I think about all those macho law enforcement officers out there who just love to play bully everyday by harassing harmless American citizens...or should I say "shaking them down" for more money to hand over to the criminal politicians? Don't get me wrong here...I know there are a lot of honorable members of our law enforcement community who are doing the job for the right reasons and who take seriously their sworn oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. But I also know there are many who are simply on a power trip and really need to understand that if America goes down, you and your family are going down with her. Your shiny badge, 9MM, and tough macho image are not going to do you a damn bit of good when you are face down in the mud getting ready to lick the boots of your new government masters! Why not put all your phony excuses to hide a low self image away and get into FREEDOM, get into a real fight that's worth FIGHTING so that one day in the future your posterity will have a hero in you that they can be proud of?

Message For You Government Workers

I also want to talk to those of you out there who no doubt will read the information in this website and who make their living as a government employee of some kind. Do you honestly think because you work for the government that you will to be spared what's going to happen if we fall to the tyranny of this so called New World Order? I think not! In fact, if history has anything to say about it, you are going to be the first people taken care of by your government [and I don't mean in a good way]! Please consider the cost of your allegiance. Is your loyalty to a government bureaucracy and a steady pay check worth your grand child's future? Is it worth your future? As that great American Samuel Adams said, "
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

What Is Freedom Worth To You?

As an American in this "Land of the Free and Home of the Brave," what would you be willing to give up for an America that is truly free? What would you be willing to give up, not to have to fear your government? What would you be willing to give up not to have to fear the IRS? How important is it to you that your children never have to worry about living under the oppression of a fascist dictatorship? Would the possibility of curtailing this very real scenario be worth giving up the Saturday afternoon Bar-B-Que to help spread the truth about America’s plight and how we can save her? Is your freedom worth taking the time to study the Constitution and leave a Patriot Card here and there? I know this is not easy to read, but honestly, ask yourself, how important is freedom to you? Maybe this question is irrelevant in your mind because you have convinced yourself that America will never fall into the throws of Fascism? I am sure the people of all great civilizations felt the same as you. I am sure the people of Germany trusted their government. They trusted their government when their politicians spoke of "peace" and "freedom." They trusted their government when the politicians said they would need to pass this law and that law in order to guarantee the safety of their citizens. I am sure the people of Germany trusted their government when they were told that gun confiscation was required to maintain a safe and free society! I am sure the people of Germany trusted their government and felt secure right up until the point they were loaded on rail cars and taken to the gas chambers. Am I being too dramatic? Am I creating unwarranted fear? Please consider in light of what's happening in America today that it may be far better for us to overreact now to circumstances and be wrong then to under-react later to our situation and be right! Please believe me when I tell you that I DO NOT want to be right about the information I am discussing! However, the evidence is in and so overwhelming that we as a nation can no longer ignore the 900 pound gorilla staring us right in the face! 

The Skinny Branches Of Life

Will you get out of your comfort zone? Remember the skinny branches of life is where the fruit is! Can you spend some time each day thinking, planning and talking about how we can get our country BACK? What part will you play in America's second revolution? Maybe it's time for you to sit somewhere quiet and really ponder, really consider WHY? Why, as an American  are you able to travel freely between states [this was before the Transportation Security Agency], speak freely against the government if you like [this was before Bush signed the Patriot Act into law], and own your own property, business or house, [this was before the Internal Revenue Service]. How much do you really value freedom? Friend…what does the word “freedom” really mean to you? Please think about that! Does your idea of freedom match what the Founding Fathers knew FREEDOM to be? 

May we all, as proud Americans, rise up and find the same courage given by God Almighty which was in the heart of Patrick Henry when he said, "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains or slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take but as for me; give me liberty or give me death!” 

America Used To Be A Republic

In many cases, it’s hard to see how dysfunctional something has become unless you know what it looked like in the beginning. I think if our Founding Fathers were to come back and see what's become of the country they gave their life's blood for, they would be utterly horrified! They would immediately begin the process they started with King George III over two hundred years ago! However, this time it would be against the criminals and kings in Washington D.C! They knew America as a true Republic before it became a dysfunctional "Democracy." 

After the delegates had just ratified our Constitution, Benjamin Franklin, leaving the historic gathering was asked what type of government they had given us? Franklin’s response to the question was, “A Republic...if you can keep it.” Well, Benjamin Franklin's words ring like an eerie prophecy today because indeed we have not been able to keep our Republic and the saddest part of the story is that most Americans don't know and don't care. 

There Is Hope

Because we don't know how our country’s government used to operate, it's very hard for Americans to comprehend what's wrong with it now. They just cannot put their finger on the real nature of the problems. However, it's my premise that if we [in short order] learn how our government is suppose to run by looking at it through the eyes of the very men who created it and put it in place; we have a very good chance of returning our nation to a solid, Constitutional Republic. This “Second American Revolution,” can only be won by studying our Founder’s own documents, letters, sermons and books. The process of educating as many Americans as possible about the true nature of what this Republic is suppose to be is a major driving force behind Patriots4Change.com. In reality, probably the most important part of the website is this section dealing with the Constitution. Please read and ponder the basic information that follows. Basically...What Does the Constitution Do?

Please understand, what follows is not designed to be an exhaustive legal study of the United States Constitution. What I have attempted to do is deal specifically with those parts of the Constitution that are critically important to have a basic understanding. The goal being to reach a certain percentage of the population with enough knowledge to create a movement of people who can intelligently share the truth about how our Republic is really suppose to work.

Our Constitution, being the highest law of the land, is what keeps our government in its cage. The bottom line is that according to the Constitution our government was created by the will of the People and the individual States. Our government has very limited and specifically "enumerated" powers. These very limited powers are GIVEN to the government by the will of the people for the express purpose of protecting the INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS that are PARTIALLY listed in the Declaration of Independence. Any governmental powers not specifically listed in the Constitution are automatically left to We the People or the States. Criminals in government like our Speaker of the House...Nancy Pelosi, would have us believe that the powers of Congress to legislate in any and all areas are limitless. However, Ms. Pelosi needs to study her history and start obeying her sworn OATH! According to James Madison [who is by all rights the father of our Constitution] said exactly the OPPOSITE of the lies Nancy Pelosi is spewing in the mainstream! Madison said, "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are FEW and DEFINED. Those which are to remain in the State governments are NUMEROUS and INDEFINITE." (emphasis added)

I also want to point out the important fact that only “We the People” have “Rights.” There is no such thing as the concept of “States Rights” in our Constitutional Republic. Individual States, like the Federal Government, are at the behest of We the People and have powers and privileges - NOT RIGHTS! The Founding Fathers understood all too well the nature of government and what George Washington so correctly elaborated on when he said, "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence - it is force! Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action." 

You May Ask Yourself...

The government needs to be in a cage? You may ask yourself why this is? I thought government was there to help us! I thought government was there to provide for us! Exactly why does the Constitution need to protect us from the institution of government? What did George Washington know about government that “We the People” don't seem to understand? The answer is found in understanding the true nature of man! 

The Fallen Nature Of Man

I remember several years ago having a conversation with a friend of mine about sin and the nature of man. During the course of the conversation, I made the comment that the Biblical record states all mankind is born in sin and has a sin nature from the beginning. In Romans 3:12 God tells us through the Apostle Paul, “They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” In Romans 3:23, He says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” And finally in Isaiah 64:6, God says through the Prophet Isaiah, “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags.” My friend was incised at the thought that I would suggest babies have a sin nature from birth! Please don't jump on me here. I don't make the rules, I'm just telling you what the Bible says! I then gave my friend this observation to prove the Bible is exactly on point in what it says about human nature.

Did you ever observe how toddlers react with each other, especially when they think an adult is not monitoring them? I guarantee if you turn your back for 5 minutes, you will have a mini riot on your hands! Ours is a nature bent on preserving ones own ego and will.  You will find Little Billy is trying to forcefully take that bright, red fire engine from Freddy. Opps...don't look now, but over there Sally is in the corner crying because little Sarah pulled her hair for no reason. Have you ever wondered why you never have to teach a child how to misbehave? It's our nature to want to exercise our own free will in our way and to our benefit…even if that means taking away freedoms and torturing another human being! This behavior is unlearned and is with us right out of the chute! 

The History Of Man

Please understand that the history of man is one of death and destruction. It never ceases to amaze me how cruel and horrific mankind can be to his fellow man. If you disagree with this statement I have to ask, “Are you living in the same world I am?” No matter how positive you would like to be, no matter how much you try to convince yourself that mankind is inherently good, you cannot change history. Today is December 24, 2009. It is the day before Christmas and as I sit here in Starbucks writing, there are, according to AlterNet.org 27 million slaves world-wide. “One hundred forty-three years after the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and 60 years after Article 4 of the U.N.’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights banned slavery and the slave trade worldwide, there are more slaves than at any time in human history.” Today, as of this writing, there are currently some 20 conflicts going on worldwide. According to the Global Debt Clock on the Capital Chronicle website, the world economy is on the brink of collapse with a combined debt that is pushing 36 Trillion dollars. I am sorry Rev. Schuller, but we don’t need to look at the good in ourselves for the answers to our problems. No, we need to look to the only real hope for the fallen nature of mankind and that is in the Birth, Death and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ! Man can try as he may to rule himself with Liberty and Freedom for all, but without the true King of Peace at the helm, it will only lead to slavery and death.

As I mentioned before, we are living on the cusp of a technological Singularity! However, all the technology in the world has only given mankind more technologically advanced ways to oppress, torture and kill his fellow man! I think of the breakthroughs in the physics of the atom that led to nuclear power. Of course that same technology has put the entire world under a shadow of destruction because of nuclear weapons. The magnificent breakthroughs in electronics and microchip technology have given us incredible computers that make our lives better and more productive at every level. However this same technology has allowed our Government to monitor us more closely with satellites, cameras, radar and now RFID chip implants to track your every move. Because of advancements in technology our Government is rapidly moving toward a police state that would make the world George Orwell wrote about in his book “1984” pale by comparison. Government is a master at turning technological advancements into added mechanisms for controlling, monitoring, enslaving and killing us. 

Government Is A Reflection Of The People

The nature of man is one of pride and sin. For this reason government [which has always been the instrument of men for controlling other men] will be inherently tyrannical and despotic in its very nature. This is why the whole notion of the Constitution somehow giving our politicians a blank slate for creating whatever legislation is necessary to "Promote the General Welfare" is just so much bogus garbage! If indeed our Constitution gives Congress virtually unlimited legislative power [as the wicked Nancy Pelosi would put it] then why even have a Constitution for goodness sake? Not to mention this pathetic notion goes against EVERYTHING our Founding Fathers risked, fought and died for! The primary desire our Founding Fathers had in the creation of our Constitution was to set in place the proper controls on government and established the "Highest Law of the Land" which would effectively keep those in government [our politicians] in their “cages.” In Proverbs 29:2, God tells us through his servant David, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.” Let me ask you a question, are the majority of Americans enjoying our government or do we fear our government? That question is really the acid test of government…right? Are the people afraid of their government? I would say most Americans dreadfully fear their government and the reason is because our politicians no longer consider themselves beholden to the "Highest Law of the Land!" They have convinced themselves that they have two blank checks...one that gives them the right to recklessly confiscate and spend the hard earned labor of the American people and one that gives them the ability to legislate any, all and wherever laws they see fit to lay upon We the People! I do have to say this however...as much as I hate what's going on in Washington D.C. and as much as I want to place guilt for where we are as a country squarely on the shoulders of those men and women in Congress who have completely abrogated their oath of office; the truth is that our government is only a reflection of the morality of the people! 

Remove God And Destruction Will Follow...It's A Law

We the People are the ones who put those scoundrels in office...right? Instead of paying attention to our government, getting involved and holding our elected Representatives accountable, we were too busy massively abusing the fruits of our freedom. Instead of maintaining our own personal morality and being obedient to God, we have thumbed our noses at Him and made our own idols out of wealth and affluence! Is it any real surprise we are now reaping what we've sown for the past 60 years of fighting God and trying to remove him from all areas of America society. God gave us the blessing of America and when He was the most important part of our lives...we prospered like no other nation in the history of mankind. However, now we are truly a "Post-Christian" nation. What other nation in the history of mankind has murdered 52 million of its own babies! There is no other word for this than INFANTICIDE! If that was not bad enough, we did it in their mothers wombs and  for no other reason than to make a buck! Look around America...are we reaping the rewards of a post-Christian nation...YOU BET WE ARE! We have rampant homosexuality, we have every type of perverse evil being committed by our government, we have more people in prison than any nation on the planet; our divorce rates, teen suicide rates and homicide rates are higher than any nation on the planet. For goodness sake, do we really believe this anti-God, New Age, let's Coexist, Humanist ideology at the expense of the One true God is really working? There are only two options available for a nation of people with regard to how they live amongst each other as a society. They either have a moral absolute wherein they have a set of laws based on that moral absolute or they choose to TRY and live amongst each other with everyone doing as they please; where truth is relative based on what each person thinks in his own mind and therefore no one can be held accountable for his or her actions because everyone is equally right! I'm sorry, but this flawed rational always leads to anarchy because NO...not everyone is right and yes it is morally wrong to live your life certain ways. In the beginning our great nation recognized the Bible as our guiding light and moral absolute. Our laws and justice system were based on the Ten Commandments. Now we cannot hang the Ten Commandments in our courts of law because someone of another faith or no faith at all might be offended. Of course we are seeing the results of this pathetic, politically correct attempt at the avoidance of stepping on another person's fragile ego by trying to adhere to the principles of Godly governance that made America great to begin with! What's interesting is this "Political Correctness" is just a slick way of being able to attack God and Christianity under the guise of not wanting to offend someone who doesn't believe in the God of the Bible or adheres to another belief system. In other words the only faith that's "Politically Correct" to publicly attack and throw so called "hate speech at" is true Christianity. 

How much more evidence do we need! Maybe it is going to take America slipping into the darkest tyranny of some New World Order before we really wake up to what we are doing in our effort to shut God out. We really need to just get over this pitiful, prideful, anti-God attitude  and accept the evidence that's all around us. America it's time to face the reality...we have a choice...we either embrace the one true God of the Bible or we face certain destruction...it's really no more complicated than that!

Pride Of Man

In simplest terms, man's greatest problem is pride. All the evil in the world comes from one source...pride in the heart of man! Think about the father of pride. Satan was overcome by pride and was thrown out of heaven for that reason. As recorded in the book of Isaiah 14: 12-14, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” Satan couldn't deal with the fact that he was not and never would be God the Creator. He was a creation that desired to be God the Creator! As much as God gave him, he was not happy. Is not man the very same way? In fact, it was the same flaw of character [pride] that Satan used to trip up Eve in the Garden of Eden. In the book of Genesis 3:2-6 we find the record of a conversation Satan had with Eve just prior to their fall. “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” When God was walking this earth in the physical body of Jesus Christ, He said the greatest commandment was to “Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,” and the second greatest commandment was to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Remember the "Golden Rule" found in Matthew 7:12,“Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” Jesus tried to remind us to live our lives in direct opposition to our sinful natures. But what does this all have to do with government and what I was discussing above? Everything! 

Basic Struggle Of Mankind

You see, because of man's fallen state, because of the condition of the heart of man; the struggle of mankind has always been maintaining one's own right to individual freedom in spite of those nefarious souls who think it their right to exercise their free choice in the direction of trampling on or taking away the freedom of another man.  On the one hand you have people struggling to live their individual lives as they choose. And on the other hand you ALWAYS have someone who [because of their thirst for power, control, PRIDE and a sinful nature] desires to take that freedom away through the tyranny of government oppression! Historically speaking this is what government does…it takes away people's freedom! You have no doubt heard the cliche' that "Absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely." Have you ever considered why a cliche' becomes a cliche'? It's because they are generally true! The epitome of all sin [pride] is what breeds tyrants and political elites who believe that they are of a different class than their fellow man simply because they hold an elected office or have great wealth and power. Their higher social standing and their fallen nature leads them to the unfortunate conclusion that they are literally on a higher plane of enlightenment - they are literally the "Enlightened Ones." Anyone who knows any history at all can relate that the main theme running through the whole drama of life is man's struggle against man for freedom. In fact the world's greatest history book by far is the Holy Bible. The Bible has literally story after story about man's struggle against government or better yet, man's struggle against other men who are trying to take away or control their freedom. The historical account of Daniel and the Den of Lions found in Daniel chapter 6 comes to mind? Why was Daniel put into the den with the savagely hungry lions? It was because he committed civil disobedience by praying to God instead of worshiping King Darius. How about the historical account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego's civil disobedience to King Nebuchadnezzar [Daniel 3]? Or how about the story of the early apostles who all were martyred because they wouldn't obey the Jewish and Roman leadership and stop spreading word about the fact that Jesus indeed rose bodily from the dead! Even the historical account of Jesus Christ's crucifixion by the Roman Empire at the hands of the Jewish leaders is all about government injustice and tyranny. It just so happened that indeed God used the evil outcome of the Roman/Jewish tyranny to pave the way for the salvation of mankind. I could go on and on about examples from history in relation governmental tyranny and oppression. How about the Jew's under the slave rule of Egypt prior to Moses leading them out of bondage, or the prophesied destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD at the hands of the Roman Empire. The Bible is historical account after historical account of man's struggle against his fellow man for freedom. 

Day after day, year after year people are struggling for freedom from tyranny. In fact today, governmental tyranny is more prevalent than at any time in recorded history. America is no longer the light of freedom that shines in the darkness, but is actually now become the world's major force for tyranny and thus the world as a whole is facing a future of complete and utter despotism on a scale never before seen! I hope you are getting the picture of what's at stake here. Any hope for freedom lies  solely with the American people. Will the American people be on the right side of history...will you the reader be on the right side of history?

Ok dear reader, I realize I have devoted considerable space trying to give you an understanding as to WHY studying our founding documents is vital to our future as a free nation. Thank you for taking the time to read the information and I sincerely hope I have communicated to you in an effective manner. What follows should give each reader a basic understanding our nation's Constitution...



Original Ten Amendments: The Bill of Rights

Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791.

Amendment I
Freedoms, Petitions, Assembly

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Amendment II
Right to bear arms

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Amendment III
Quartering of soldiers

No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.

Amendment IV
Search and arrest

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Amendment V
Rights in criminal cases

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb, nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Amendment VI
Right to a fair trial

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed; which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defence.

Amendment VII
Rights in civil cases

In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.

Amendment VIII
Bail, fines, punishment

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Amendment IX
Rights retained by the People

The enumeration in the Constitution of certain rights shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

Amendment X
States' powers

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Amendment 11
Lawsuits against states

The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State. February 7, 1795.

Amendment 12
Presidential elections

The Electors shall meet in their respective states, and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate;--The President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted;--The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. [And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in the case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President.]* The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States. June 15, 1804. Superseded by Section 3 of the Twentieth Amendment.

Amendment 13
Abolition of slavery

Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2. Congress shall have power to enforce these article by appropriate legislation. December 6, 1865.

Amendment 14
Civil rights

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

Section 3. No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Section 4. The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

Section 5. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article. July 9, 1868.

Amendment 15
Black suffrage

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. February 3, 1870.

Amendment 16
Income taxes


The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration. February 3, 1913.


Amendment 17
Senatorial elections


The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two senators from each State, elected by the people thereof, for six years; and each Senator shall have one vote. The electors in each State shall have the qualifications requisite for electors of the most numerous branch of the State legislature. When vacancies happen in the representation of any State in the Senate, the executive authority of such State shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies: Provided, That the legislature of any State may empower the executive thereof to make temporary appointments until the people fill the vacancies by election as the legislature may direct. This amendment shall not be so construed as to affect the election or term of any Senator chosen before it becomes valid as part of the Constitution. April 8, 1913.

Amendment 18
Prohibition of liquor

Section 1. After one year from the ratification of this article, the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating liquors within, the importation thereof into, or the exportation thereof from the United States and all territory subject to the jurisdiction thereof for beverage purposes is hereby prohibited.

Section 2. The Congress and the several States shall have concurrent power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Section 3. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress. January 16, 1919. Repealed by the Twenty-First, December 5, 1933.

Amendment 19
Women's suffrage

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any States on account of sex. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. August 18, 1920.

Amendment 20

Terms of office

Section 1. The terms of the President and Vice President shall end at noon the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.

Section 2. The Congress shall assemble at least once in every year, and such meeting shall begin at noon on the 3d day of January, unless they shall by law appoint a different day.

Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

Section 4. The Congress may by law provide for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the House of Representatives may choose a President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them, and for the case of the death of any of the persons from whom the Senate may choose a Vice President whenever the right of choice shall have devolved upon them.

Section 5. Sections 1 and 2 shall take effect on the 15th day of October following the ratification of this article.

Section 6. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission. January 23, 1933.

Amendment 21
Repeal of Prohibition

Section 1. The eighteenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

Section 2. The transportation or importation into any State, Territory, or possession of the United States for delivery or use therein of intoxicating liquors, in violation of the laws thereof, is hereby prohibited.

Section 3. The article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by conventions in the several States, as provided in the Constitution, within seven years from the date of the submission hereof to the States by the Congress. December 5, 1933.

Amendment 22
Term Limits for the Presidency

Section 1. No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. But this Article shall not apply to any person holding the office of President when this Article was proposed by the Congress, and shall not prevent any person who may be holding the office of President, or acting as President, during the term within which this Article becomes operative from holding the office of President or acting as President during the remainder of such term.

Section 2. This article shall be inoperative unless it shall have been ratified as an amendment to the Constitution by the legislatures of three-fourths of the several States within seven years from the date of its submission to the States by the Congress. February 27, 1951.

Amendment 23
Washington, D.C., suffrage

Section 1. The District constituting the seat of government of the United States shall appoint in such manner as the Congress may direct: A number of electors of President and Vice President equal to the whole number of Senators and Representatives in Congress to which the District would be entitled if it were a state, but in no event more than the least populous State; they shall be in addition to those appointed by the States, but they shall be considered, for the purposes of the election of President and Vice President, to be electors appointed by a State; and they shall meet in the District and perform such duties as provided by the twelfth article of amendment.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. March 29, 1961.

Amendment 24
Abolition of poll taxes

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States to vote in any primary or other election for President or Vice President, for electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or other tax.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. January 23, 1964.

Amendment 25
Presidential succession

Section 1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.

Section 2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

Section 3. Whenever the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that he is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, and until he transmits to them a written declaration to the contrary, such powers and duties shall be discharged by the Vice President as Acting President.

Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President. Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office. February 10, 1967.

Amendment 26
18-year-old suffrage

Section 1. The right of citizens of the United States, who are eighteen years of age or older, to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of age.

Section 2. The Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation. June 30, 1971.

Amendment 27
Congressional pay raises

No law, varying the compensation for the services of the Senators and Representatives, shall take effect, until an election of Representatives shall have intervened. May 7, 1992. (Note: Congress submitted the text of this amendment as part of the proposed Bill of Rights on September 27, 1789. The Amendment was not ratified together with the first ten Amendments.)
